Vaughn Graber is from a family of wood masters passing down old-world quality workmanship in all of their products. He has made a variety of home furnishings for family members, including beds, coffee tables, saddle stands, picture frames, trophy cases, wall shelves, tack boxes, blanket chests, kaleidoscopes, spinning tops, duck and predator calls and more. He also makes and sells kits for carving wooden dolls.
Upon retirement Vaughn decided he could not play golf, hunt or fish every day. His excuse for purchasing his wood working tools was they would keep him out of the bars and off the streets. He is a member of the Kansas Woodturners, Flint Hills Woodturners, AAW and the Topeka Sawdusters. He also has a booth at the Woodcarvers Show in Topeka which is usually held in November. His pursuit of top notch wood products has lead to an absolutely astounding piece of wood art in the solid and segmented bowls that he turns on his lathe.
