Amy likes to concentrate on the importance of composition, focal subject matter, color harmony and the balance between light and shadow, and warm versus cool colors. She enjoys painting landscape, still life and animals especially dogs in their candid moments
Amy is an exhibiting artist and an art instructor with students achieving admission into top art colleges in the U.S. She is currently teaching art in the Greater East Bay Area art school and her own studio.
Amy’s paintings have been juried into prestigious art shows and her art pieces are in private collection both in the U.S. and overseas. She is a signature member of National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society (NOAPS), American Women Artists (AWA), and artist member of Oil Painters of America (OPA).
Amy has lived and worked internationally before settling in the Bay Area. She is a graduate of Pratt Institute and worked over ten years in advertising studios in New York before pursuing her passion in fine art painting for the past twenty-plus years.
